Lincoln Ladies are delighted to announce that Great Britain and England captain Casey Stoney has put pen to paper on a two year deal.
This latest announcement comes after the Lady Imps secured the signings of fellow England internationals Sophie Bradley and Jess Clarke, much to the delight of Chief Executive Luke Negus-Hill, who highlighted the importance of keeping a strong squad together.
“Casey is a fantastic captain, as she has shown that at international level, and even captaining the Great Britain team at London 2012.”
“Securing the service of Casey for a further two years shows the ambition of this club to progress and ultimately win silverware, in the not too distant future.”
Casey Stoney has been ever present since signing for Lincoln Ladies from Chelsea in 2011,
The international star stated “I am really happy to have signed a new deal with Lincoln. The vision of this club is fantastic and I am excited to be a part of it”
Stoney finally added “the club has set itself big ambitions, and I hope to help them achieve them”
