Lincoln Ladies look to avenge their defeat to Birmingham Ladies last weekend as they travel to Merseyside to face Liverpool Ladies.

The two sides have met twice already this season, but both occasions Lincoln were at home, leaving with 4 points out of a possible 6.

The Lincolnshire side fell behind the chasing pack on Sunday after they lost 3-1 to Birmingham. This now leaves them five points behind Chelsea, albeit it with a game in hand, who sit one place above them in fifth position.

With just five games of the league season to go, four of which are away from home, Lincoln will be looking to gain a valuable three points to push them up the table as the season enters it’s final stages.

Sunday’s game is the first in a few days for Lincoln as on Thursday they travel the short distance to the Keepmoat Stadium where they face bottom side Doncaster Belles.

Lincoln manager Glen Harris will be looking for three points on Sunday to start off a run of points as they face the two teams below them in a matter of 4 days.

Sunday’s game is a 2pm kick off with tickets available on the day at Skelmersdale.
